Story

Dave has a smile for everyone...

Dave Beasley has to be the most cheerful person living in Waterbeach that I have ever met. He moved to the village, with his wife Sarah, 31 years ago and together they have 2 fabulous daughters, Emily and Sammy.

Dave worked as a Youth Leader for many years, supporting hundreds of local teenagers, always there to provide support and never judgemental. He has delighted many toddlers and young children as Mr Marvel (and continues to do so). For the last couple of years he has been window cleaning and has around 300 customers. He really does whistle whilst he works and has a true zest for life!

Sadly, on Tuesday 8th May Dave fell from his ladder and sustained serious injuries, which included a broken skull, nose, top jaw, wrist, finger and ankle, he also knocked out his 3 front teeth and bit through both of his lips.

Dave is currently being cared for in hospital and has started talking again.

As a show of our kindness and caring for Dave and his family I have set up this page as a way to raise a bit of money to help see them through the forthcoming period of recovery and convalescence.

Any contribution you are able to make is hugely appreciated. Thank you.
