Story
Following a devastating wildfire that hit the club’s ground on July 20, the Heacham Wildfowlers are trying to raise £3,000 to help clear up the damage and rebuild the marsh.
A total of 120 acres of shrub and marshland were left burnt and scarred by the wildfire. The money raised will be vital in restoring the ground to its former state.
The fire ripped through 350m of fencing plus gates, destroyed two bridges, and engulfed eight duck nest tubes, placed there to provide safe breeding grounds for mallards.
Heacham Wildfowlers desperately need your help to return the marsh to its previous state as a thriving hub for wildfowl and nature. All funds raised will go towards cleaning up the destruction and cover the costs of replacing the infrastructure.
Thank you.
