Story

Langstone Sailability has been supporting the disabled community for over 50 years. As a charity it relies on charitable contributions from fund raising actives, support from local residents, businesses and its members.

COVID-19 & the cost of living has had a dramatic impact on the club from both fund raising activities and a decline in members.

I have been part of Langstone Sailability for over 20 years. To support the club in 2024 I have chosen to take on the challenge of cycling from London to Amsterdam (over 335 miles), over 4 days in September 2024. My aim is to raise both funds and awareness to grow members.

Langstone Sailability has a vanity of boats that ensures that no matter the disability we get every one out in the water. This includes our dedicated motor boat purpose built to take those who are wheelchair bound with limited mobility also joins in the fun.
