    Story

We are excited to announce a special fundraising initiative to support our Junior Golf Program! This August, we’re re launching the **August Junior Golf Challenge**, where our junior members will come together to complete as many holes as they can—both as a group , individually and on any golf course. This challenge is not just about improving our golf skills; it’s about fostering teamwork, dedication, and a love for the game.

    **Why Are We Raising Money?**

Funds raised through this challenge will directly support our Junior Fund, which is crucial for providing:

    - **Junior team Kit:** To ensure we can contribute to the junior team kit promoting both performance and pride in representing Burnham and Berrow.

    - **Trophy Night:** A special evening to celebrate our juniors’ achievements, where every effort and accomplishment is recognized and rewarded.

    - **Prizes for Junior Roll-Up:** To keep our weekly gatherings fun and exciting, encouraging participation and enhancing the competitive spirit.

    - **Equipment for New Juniors Golfers:** To introduce more young people to the sport, providing access to essential gear for those just starting their golfing journey.

    **The Challenge Details:**

    - **When:** Throughout August

    - **How It Works:** Juniors can play as often as they like, either individually or as part of a group. Each hole completed will count toward their total , and we'll keep a running tally of both individual and team scores.

    - **Goal:** To complete as many holes as possible by the end of August !

We encourage all juniors to get involved, challenge themselves, and have fun while supporting a great cause. It’s a fantastic opportunity to improve your game, bond with fellow golfers, and contribute to the future of junior golf at our club!
