DMMUK are raising money for the Shri Darji Gnati Seva Samaj of Mumbai to support families who have been impacted by the Covid 19 Pandemic. Most of you will have seen the harrowing report of deaths in the media – it is shocking, with almost 70% of their livelihoods affected including the ability to earn, feed themselves, run their households, medical supplies and education.

DMMUK has made an immediate donation of £2000 to the Samaj to support those families most in need and are now extending our appeal to the Darji Community living in the UK. We have set a target to raise £6000 over the next 6 weeks - however we have been overwhelmed by the support and therefore have increased the target to £10,000. Once we have reached our target, this appeal will be closed. Shri Darji Gnati Seva Samaj of Mumbai will share details of how the money will be distributed and an audit of expenditure available for transparency.
