In memory of Dominic Danos, we are raising funds to support the Doverhouse Lions, a community Youth, Adult, Girls, & Disability Football Club based at Roehampton Playing Fields (Southwest London).

For over 17 years they have been using the power of sport to provide meaningful education pathways, and a broad range of initiatives focusing on employment, social deprivation, crime reduction, youth offending, health, inclusion, environmental, and opportunities to focus on a positive future, awakening the realisation that every young person matters.

This club is run for the community by the community; the coaches and team management are volunteers, who give their time to support more than 300 children and young adults each week from one of the most deprived estates in the UK.

The Danos Group staff and company are dedicated to supporting the Doverhouse Lions FC and their commitment to empower the most vulnerable members of their community.

Dom believed in “supporting his staff to succeed” and “delivering the best solutions for his clients and candidates”, these are values that are core to the Danos Group business today. Therefore, we feel it is very fitting to commit to funding the following activities for the Doverhouse Lions FC so they can build on their success, by delivering the best solutions.

We will be funding the following initiatives:

- Sponsorship of adult FA coaching courses to enable the volunteer coaches to deliver the best training sessions, give them a sense of achievement through investment, and equip them to share their knowledge with up-and-coming youth coaches.

- Sponsorship of youth and adult FA referee courses to ensure that the volunteers are delivering high standard of game rule enforcement that allows safe and fair play, teaches how rules can be positively implemented, and provides an “honest” income on match days.

- Individual child bursary fund to enable Lily; a gifted deaf young footballer, to attend the England FA Training Camps that she has been selected to participate in as a rising England girls football talent.
