Story

I have been fortunate enough to secure a place on a 6 week conservation expedition with Operation Wallacea to Mexico this summer. Together with other students and scientists, we will be assessing the impacts of extensive tourism in Akumal Bay on the health and habitat of the resident Green Sea Turtle population. I am so lucky to be able to carry out this vital work; knowing that my research will be actively used within conservation policy is incredibly exciting and rewarding. After working in Greece last summer with Loggerhead Turtles, I have fallen in love with marine life and feel we should all do our part to protect the oceans! Thank you so very much for your support.
