I'm raising £11,495 for disability support

Hi, my name is Daniel sully, I have Athetoid Cerebral Palsy and I would like to raise £11,000 for a new electric wheelchair as the wheelchair I am currently using is not working very well as it keeps breaking. I have had this one for 7 years and I think its time for a new one. People think that these types of wheelchairs are funded by the government, but they are not as we have to fund them for ourselves with hard earned money and they cost quite a lot. The people who design and make the parts have stopped making them now so it is a lot harder as I cannot buy the type of parts that I need to fix it, which is another reason to buy a new electric wheelchair.

Also, I need to be able to maintain my independence as being a wheelchair user brings difficulties in my everyday life. I have a few hobbies which I would like to continue doing as they enjoyable and they make me happy, such as shopping at my local shops which I live close to, going up to my field and looking after my animals, going to theatres or concerts to go and see my favourite music artist, Ronan Keating, and my favourite band, Boyzone. With a new wheelchair I would be able to look after my animals as much as possible because it is quite difficult doing jobs around the field because half the time it does not function properly like it used to. A year ago, my wheelchair had stopped working whilst I was showing my cows at Dunster show, the local event I attend to every year.

Therefore, any contributions to fulfil my dreams and aspirations would be highly thankful for, as I wish to keep being independent and being able to socialise with people and close friends around my estate and everywhere else.
