The reason I am organising this Para Athletics event is because I feel disability athletes do not have enough opportunities to compete against people of their own classification groups.

Date of Event and Time
The event will take place on 17th May 2020 at Leckwith athletics track Cardiff The event is being run though my club Cardiff athletics but I m the main organiser. British athletics are helping me promote my event.
My event is on the British Athletics and Para Athletics event calendar. British Para Athletics are also advertising my event on their newsletter
There is going to be a classification day on the Saturday before my competition where new Para athletes will have the chance to get classified with a physical impairment. This will be held in NIAC (UWIC Cardiff). The classification day is being organized and paid by British Para Athletics.
We hope that once a few of the more recognised athletes have entered this will start to encourage a lot of athletes to enter. I would like if possible, the top British Para athletes to compete at my event. I would also like if possible, some foreign athletes to compete at the event to. As athletes know their results are going to be going on the power of 10 they will be able to use them as qualifying time for the Paralympics. There will be prize money for British, European and world records which will be advertised before the event starts
