Story

I am Daniel Mansell, 9 years old and mad about playing any type of sports. Inparticular, i love to play football. On 14th December 2018, i have the opportunity to go to liverpool and play football against other children my age. This is a fantastic opportunity and i would really love to do it. I love playing all sports but football is my favourite.

I would also like to raise some money for a charity called Zoe's place. I know Zoe's place help care for sick babies and children and would like to help them if i can by raising as much money as possible.

In order to try raise money, i am going to try and swim the equivalent of swimming from Alcatraz prison back to the mainland. This is 1.5 miles or 96 lengths - i hope to do it in under 90 minutes during 2 sessions starting 30th November.

Any money i raise upto £200 will be split meaning half will go towards football and half towards Zoe's place. Once over £200, that extra will also go to Zoe's place. I am hoping i can raise a minimum of £400 (would love a lot more) which would mean i can donate atleast £300 to help Zoe's place. I am excited but also nervous- i just want it to go well.

Any donations would be really appreciated No matter how big or small. Thank you.

Daniel Mansell xx
