As you all know, Lena works tirelessly to run Apollo’s Angels, which has so far saved the lives of over 800 very lucky Cyprus dogs who were previusly dumped, abused or neglected.

Sadly, two of her own rescues have needed serious medical intervention in recent weeks; First the lovely Calvin required specialist tests which sadly led to a diagnosis of an inoperable brain tumour. Tragically Calvin lost his battle and leaves behind a huge hole in Lena’s heart.

Now gorgeous Dandy requires a double cruciate operation. He is currently with the specialist today for the first of these very expensive but vital operations.

Lena does have pet insurance but the cover barely touches the phenomenal bill which has now climbed to over £10,000

Lena never asks for anything for herself or her own dogs but I know many of you will be sad to hear of this news and would very much like to help so this page has been created so that anyone who would like to can donate.
