Over the last year, both of us have experienced family members becoming ill with Cancer. A truly huge shock to the system, thankfully both cases are looking positive. We understand that not everyone is as lucky as us, and so this is our tiny way of helping out where we can.

Our aim is to walk the Lyke Wake Walk challenge: a 41-ish mile walk spanning the width of the North Yorkshire Moors, in under 24 hours. This walk is traditionally taken to remember coffin bearers and funeral processions, so this will be a poignant challenge to take.

All money will be split evenly between Macmillan and Axminster and Lyme Cancer Support. Without these wonderful charities, our loved ones would have had a much tougher time dealing with their illnesses.

We understand completely that in our current economic climate, times are hard, however if you could donate even just a small amount, we would be deeply grateful.
