Story
I will be sleeping rough in Castle Park, Colchester in support of The Big Sleepout run by the Rotary Club of Colchester on May 6th. The Big Sleep will be raising money for Beacon House and The Samaritans.
Beacon House
Beacon House Ministries is a charity that was established to help homeless people, those in insecure accommodation and those at high risk of homelessness. Beacon House offers a wide range of support services providing a necessary and vital lifeline to people who are homeless or in vulnerable tenancies.
The Samaritans
Every single day, around 16 people decide to end their own life across England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The Samaritans know their service can help people before it's too late.
