After a stormy first attempt at cycling the Welsh 3 peaks on the 15th-16th of March, the team had to pull the lads out at the bottom of Cadair Idris as conditions were too dangerous, having completed Snowdon and a 50mile cycle. Not disheartened by this, the reattempt will take place on the 25th-26th of May in hope of better weather conditions. Meanwhile the lads have racked up over 400kms on the bikes and in the mountains in preparation.

On the 25th-26th of May the lads will again look to cycle the 138miles between the Welsh 3 Peaks and climb the 17miles of mountains, within 36hours to raise money for the Alaw Ward in Ysbyty Gwynedd. The Alaw Ward specialises both in treatment of cancer as well as offering any palliative care required, with an outreach service to patients still living in their homes. A very worthwhile cause.

Proceeds will be donated directly to the ward following the challenge.
