    Story

Cwtsh Appeal 2019 : We are launching Cwtch Appeal again this year, we will be collecting Advent Calendars and organising two Charity Children’s Christmas parties. We will NOT be collecting any shoeboxes for homeless this year.

About Cwtsh Appeal : Cwtsh Appeal was started in 2012 as an appeal for winter essentials in a shoebox for homeless. For the last 5 years, we have been organising Charity Children’s Christmas parties for Children in Council Hostels.

We will be collecting Advent calendars for both the Adams Court and Ty Greenfarm Hostels in November. We are expecting to collect around 100 calendars. Advent Calendar Collection - deadline 20th November .

Children’s Charity Christmas Parties – 14th and 15th December - Cwtsh Appeal 2019 is expected to support 125-150 Children this year, these numbers vary because one of the hostels is a short stay and another is just 6 weeks stay tenancy, the exact numbers will be confirmed only a week before the event. Children meet Santa in the Santa Grotto with every child receiving their Christmas present, there is Disco, Activities and Games organised along with Face painting for Children.

This year, there are two Charity Children's Christmas Party organised for Children from Council Hostels. The two events are:

    - 14th December (tbc) in Ely for Ty Greenfarm Hostel

    - 15th December in Adamsdown for Adams Court Hostel and Council Playgroups in Splott-
