The Crystal Palace Leaders are helping 28 Explorers and Scouts raise funds to go out to the Gambia to aid the Gunjur Project. They will fund and help deliver facilities to a local scout group within a local school complex while redecorating existing classrooms or family compounds.

The Leaders are helping the Explorers and Scouts fundraise to pay for the project and to assist them in managing their fundraising activities. Each Explorer, Scout and Leader has to raise £1000 each in order to go on this once in a lifetime trip to experience a different culture and way of life while providing a lasting legacy.

The team have undertaken to carryout community activities in the UK to raise the funds in order to give something back to the local community while raising funds to benefit the Gambian Gunjur community.
