    Story

We are on a mission to implement real system change through the way we look at our food and our reliance on the system, to transform all spaces into organic FREE food plots for ALL.

We feel compassion to help and to take action for something to happen, we see our vulnerability and reliance on the system as a obstacle for self transformation. This movement is about growing FREE organic produce in your own garden or home and reconnecting with ourselves as a part nature. This kind of action was born from our hearts and is more than just about planting food, it's a movement for real CHANGE for ourselves and the environment. For future preparation we need to have space to share that knowledge with the younger generation. We knew in order to do that we need to pull together as ONE.

Crops Not Shops Guerilla Mission Statement was born and it's to Inspire and Motivate individuals to get back to our roots of growing organic food in our gardens or homes. For us all to feed ourselves for FREE, for the community to be more self reliant and to build local self sustaining communities all over the world.

We have taken it upon ourselves (CropsNOTShops) to reach out to anyone that thought to use a part of their garden to transform it into food growing spaces and small-scale allotments. To share love and to inspire hope in people. As soon as it was launched, the response from the community was great. We have achieved 17 gardens to date and we have transformed one allotment into a workable plot that will feed the community all through salvaged materials to have low impact on resources and to support the zero-waste movement.

We have provided crops, shared seeds, fresh organic produce and uplifted the people with Love and Hope during this Global Crisis.

Our expansion plan is to keep this movement growing into Schools and Unused Local Green Spaces, Elderly Peoples Homes, Council Estates and any space available that we can provide FREE organic produce for all.

As we keep growing and expanding we aim to transform 3 gardens per week for FREE and to also have a constant supply of FREE organic crops and seeds for everyone and anyone who wants to get involved. We want to offer FREE training and volunteer roles for each and everyone. Youth initiatives of permaculture, environmental education and further plans for a Crops Not Shops community centre where we can provide a safe space, educate by hosting FREE workshops and FREE lectures for all. Eventually we will have this movement set up nationwide.
