I am doing a sponsored walk to try and raise money for three charities. These charities are Cancer Research, The Miscarriage Association, and Covex.

The reasons for choosing these charities...... I have lost family and friends to Cancer, some of which were taken far to early, and more research needs to be done. The Miscarriage Association, as my Husband and I have now had five miscarriages in a row, and every time we loose a baby it takes a bit of us with them. Lastly Covex, this charity is done by my Mum, previously her late partner, who sadly lost his life at 54 to Cancer. My Mum promised him that she would keep the charity going for him. My Mum use to have a charity shop, but she recently closed it due to the lease coming to an end. The shop use to help with the fuel to take aid out to Romania. My Mum now relies on raising money to help fund the trips. She takes aid out to Hospitals, Church's, and Children's Homes. The aid for churches is for people young & old that have lost everything due to flooding or house fires. This could be beds, matresses, toys and clothes. Aid for Hospitals could be hospital beds, bandages, & hoists to name a few. The Childrens Homes recieve items like books, pencils, toys, clothes, & furniture etc. Not only does the charity need fuel money, my Mum is also trying to raise money to build some log cabins at the rear of the property that she hires out for volunteers to help in the village. The log cabins are for the disabled children to come up from the home in the nearest town, to have weekend away breaks.

So i've decided that I am going to walk over

200 miles from Cromer, Norfolk back to my salon in Sittingbourne, Kent. I shall be walking on my own, and occasionally with my new companion. My Mum will be my support vehicle.
I would like to raise £5,000.00 for each of these charities. Any donation made large or small is greatly appreciated.
