Isuochi is an autonomous community located in Umunneochi L.G.A of Abia State, Nigeria. Umunneochi is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Abia State of Nigeria with major septs: Umuchieze, Nneato and Isuochi. The headquarters is located in the colonial administrative town of Nkwoagu, located in Isuochi. Isuochi comprises of nine villages currently not connected to grid power due to negligence of the government. They are Achara, Amuda, Ihie, Lomara, Mbala, Ndiawa, Ngodo;Umuaku and Umuelem.

Numerous studies have shown a close relationship between power availability and poverty rates. An understanding of the inter-relationships between power availability and societal health is important regions where approximately 5% of the population has access to electricity. This is why we want to help the community provide clean energy especially to the old women and the students including small local hospitals.
