Food banks have unfortunately become a hugely important lifeline .

Whilst always existing they sadly now play a vital role in addressing food insecurity for so many in crisis in the UK. South Bristol , where EMC Electrical Group Ltd are based , our company directors were born, raised , and still live is one of the country ' s most adversely affected communities . Which is why we make regular donations of food, money, and support to the local food bank which is facilitated by a dedicated team at T he Carpenters Food & Support in Withywood.

Wednesday 27th September, 2023 I'll undertake my first ever marathon distance as I tackle the South West Coast Path starting from Minehead heading West finishing at Lynmouth, which should take me just over the distance of a marathon.

I'll run, walk, hobble, limp or any other on foot method, but I will get it done and in one continual effort.

I'll be doing this as the first stage of a longer term plan to travel the entire 630 mile South West Coast Path over the next three years in efforts to raise money for our two chosen charities. Once I have covered it in sections, I will then be going after the entire 630 mile SWCP in one single continual effort over as many days as it take in the summer of 2026.

Charity of choice for this first section is again the The Carpenters Food & Support who provide an invaluable service in my local area doing their best to help those in need of food support.

Please if you can give a little - it all helps.

I can't always do and give as much as I would like but I can always do something.

I may not be able to change the whole world (trust me there is so much I would love to change).

But I can change the world one bit at a time with a positive action to help others.
