Story

The City of Brechin Pipe Band is the oldest civilian pipe band having been formed in 1878. We are a self funded band who provide free tuition for all ages and practice once a week at our hall in Brechin. The hall and some of our equipment has suffered extensive damage caused by flooding during storm Babet. Floors and walls will need to be stripped back electrics will need to be checked and heaters renewed along with possible replacement of equipment. During this time we will also have to look for alternative storage for uniforms and instruments, will be unable to hold our monthly fundraising bingo, and will have to look for an alternative venue to continue lessons and practices. We are appealing to all supporters of the band near and far to help us raise much needed funds to get things back to normal as soon as we can.We also appreciate that times are hard for everyone and that due to the local flooding many people will be needing help
