Hello my name is Lauren Clarke I am a parent at Coxley primary school and Chairwomen of The Friends of Coxley, Chairty Number 273923

In 2021 when my first daughter started at the school, there was a fantastic bit of playground equipment for the children to use and play on, my daughter along with all her school friends would spend hours playing on it,

Unfortunately due to the age of the equipment in 2023 the equipment was condemned unsafe and had to be removed.

It has always been a goal for The Friends of Coxley School to replace this equipment however after suffering financial hardship after Covid years and being only a team of 3 it was never a priority until now!

The Friends of Coxley school has grown over the years and is now a team of 14 dedicated parents who put on events throughout the year to raise money to help with subsidising the costs of things like; transportation for school trips, swimming costs, supply’s for dt food etc.

With such a wonderful team in place it was decided this year we would make it our aim to raise money for new playground equipment.

Our first fundraiser ‘Coin Challenge’ was a roaring success giving us £1817 however with a goal of £15,000 we are still a long way off of our new playground equipment, For those of you who know Coxley primary school will know it is a small village so this is where we are now reaching to you our wider community for help!

So please if you can help our small school do something big we would be entirely grateful.
