I've raised £10000 to COVID-19: Raising Funds to help the People of Karnataka in need - UK Kannada Parivaara (UK ಕನ್ನಡ ಪರಿವಾರ).

COVID-19 is a new illness that can affect your lungs and airways. It’s caused by a virus NOVEL-Coronavirus. For latest updates on covid-19 check website (https://www.mygov.in/covid-19/?cbps=1 ). Stay Home – Stay Safe. Help contain the spread of infection.
This fast spreading illness has created a havoc through nations calling for severe restrictions on movement of people to stop spread of the infection. Many countries have enforced and gone into lockdown. The effect of this lockdown can be disastrous to many vulnerable, less fortunate and low-income/daily-wage earners. Government, Organisation and Groups of people all have come forward to help those in need. However, to help people across state/nation is an overwhelming task given the big numbers involved. In such overwhelming situations, first and most critical aspect is supply of essentials and food to those in need.
It is a bit of relief that Government, Organisations and Independent groups are putting a lot of effort to ensure that needs of all who are affected are met, but such an effort will need constant, streamlined funding to ensure regular and constant supply of necessary goods. Many of us are fortunate enough to have more than what we need and to be sufficiently funded to get through this predicament. However, time has now come to help our countrymen, friends, distant relatives, and those who are in real need. We request you all to donate for this cause generously.
Funds collected will be distributed among Government relief funds, Organisations and Independent Groups. Below you will find details of CM Relief Fund, Independent groups carrying out such great activity in Bengaluru, Karnataka Television Association and Karnataka Police Force.
