I've raised £6000 to COVID-19 Second Wave - To Setup COVID CARE CENTRE, facilitate Oxygen Supply & to Support Volunteers Fight to Save Lives

COVID-19 Second Wave has caused more damage to Indian community than any other pandemic. Everyday I fear to open WhatApp and read messages, why? It is solely because we do not want to learn about death of our near and dear ones. In the recent past, we certainly have heard of news about demise of someone we know very well; we certainly would have heard news about children orphaned due to death of both parents and we certainly would have heard about people not able to get admitted to hospital and not able to get oxygen supplies. We are in start of EMERGENCY now. It is time we act now and we act swiftly. UK Kannada Parivaara is reaching out to you to help raise funds for frontline workers who are trying to help those who are affected severely by this pandemic. We will be donating funds directly to those in need and below is the list of people who have reached out to us requesting for funds to carry out noble task of SAVING LIVES. I am not going to drag this as this is not a cinematic story but harsh reality, with that, UK Kannada Parivaara requests you all to donate generously and help your Family, friends and relatives in need.
1. Aajala Foundation – Bengaluru (17 Kids supported by this Charity are tested positive and are in dire need of help). Below message from Aajala Foundation.
“Hi Friends some of you might be aware of the work we had done last year in raising support for covid affected people, We have got a unique request again to help orphanage kids. There are 24 kids, 2 caretakers, and 2 cooks in Orphanage run by the Aajala foundation out of which 17 kids and 1 caretaker and 1 cook (are admitted in hospital) are COVID positive, Hence they are massively running short of resources for getting CT scans, medicines, isolation, nurses and doctor expenses. Their requirement is about 2 lakhs to manage all of this, I would like to know if we can contribute a good sum of amount, which can help them manage these tough times."
2. Rotary Club, Kolar – Funds for setting up Covid Care centres and Oxygen supply. Message from Somashekar, Rotary Club President, Kolar
