Coverdale & Newbank Community Association are a local Registered Charity, based in the Ardwick Community of Manchester.

Throughout the school holidays we run a project called The Coverdale & Newbank Kids Mealbox Project.

Our Coverdale & Newbank Kids MealBox Project is dedicated to tackling the growing " scandal " of Child Holiday Hunger throughout Manchester. It is estimated that throughout the UK, more than 3 Million families struggle with the added pressure and uneviable costs associated with feeding their children during the school holidays.

When the school holiday's begin, the school meals stop ! Sadly this means for five days a week, children who would otherwise receive free school meals and ordinary hard working families, who can't meet the sudden increased cost of rising shopping bills, simply go without food.

Imagine, not being able to feed your Child. ..... It simply is unimaginable isn't it !

The Facts are simple - our Coverdale & Newbank Kids MealBox Project, provided over ONE THOUSAND FREE MEALS to the Children of Manchester THIS 2018 - SUMMER SCHOOL HOLIDAYS alone !

Please ... We need your help ! Please help us to continue to fund A Free Meal for every Child that is going hungry in Manchester ... this School Holidays x
