Story
We are struggling and because we are struggling we put together this fund.
Couqley French Bistro was a home to many and now a home to none. It is a place where families gathered for a good meal, where marriage proposals took place and hundreds celebrated their birthdays.
We need all the help we can get to keep these memories alive, to keep Couqley alive. Couqley was located in the iconic Alleyway of Gemmayze, which luckily enough has survived the many years of war, unfortunately it did not survive the massive explosion.
Our home of 11 years was destroyed by the unfortunate event that took place on August 4, 2020 in Beirut. We will do everything to rebuild, for our country and for the employees, who have lost their jobs and depend on us to put food on their tables, keep a roof over their heads, send their children to school and provide the daily basic necessities, because of this tragedy.
Thank you for helping us in rebuilding our home. God Bless.

The destruction in Beruit is tragic, even from afar. I hope this helps just a little with rebuilding.
