We want to create a destination park which gives a ‘wow’ factor and uplifts the area.

The initial phase of our project was completed in spring 2024. We are now fundraising for the second phase.

To ensure that children living with a disability have an equal right to play especially addressing issues raised by the charity Scope in their ‘Let’s Play Fair’ campaign.

It is our hope that by improving this local facility it would have a great impact on the surrounding area, improve the sense of community, reduce anti-social behaviour and provide a platform to hold cultural and entertaining events.

Issues with the current space:

Lack of equipment

Not accessible or inclusive

Poor surfacing from the old tarmac causing a slippy and gravel like surface.

Anti-social behaviour caused by groups gathering

Not in keeping with the area.
