I've raised £25000 to help families overcome the economical crisis

Dear Friends, Partners, and Fellow humans,
Lebanon is facing its worst economic crisis since the 15-year civil war ended in 1990. The World Bank warned a few months ago that 50 percent of the Lebanese population would fall on or below the poverty line if the economic crisis was not quickly tackled. The outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic worldwide, has worsened the already struggling economical situation.
Today, thousands of people have lost their jobs or have had their salaries slashed, due to the prices of basic goods being doubled and in some places tripled, making it unaffordable for many individuals and families living in Lebanon.

Since March, our partner in Lebanon Basmeh and Zeitooneh launched a campaign to raise funds to secure the basic necessities for the most vulnerable families in North Bekaa and Mount Lebanon areas. To date, and with the help of many generous supporters, we were able to reach 2,548 households providing Food & Hygiene Baskets and Financial Assistance. Our target is to reach 10,000 Lebanese, Palestinian, Syrians and families from other nationalitis living in camps and the suburbs.
Your contributions will help the families sustain themselves during these challenging times.
Thank you for your support!
