I am trying to raise funds for children in Pokhara, Nepal. The Dibya Jyoti Education Trust supports local children by giving them an education and hostel accommodation. The two go hand in hand as the Trust can give continuity to the child's progress by allowing them to move through the school years without interruption and provide a safe and caring environment for them to return to each day.

I visited the school during a holiday late last year. The children have all had difficult starts to their young lives for a variety of reasons so I was extremely touched and moved at how welcoming and engaging they were and felt I wanted to do something to help.

The money will go towards providing technical equipment to help them improve their English, as well as helping with the day to day requirements that any growing child would have.
