Story
Biscuit is a sweet stray cat we rescued from a construction site where my daughter was working. Despite her tough start in life—she had a broken tail, evidence of a previously broken leg, and was riddled with fleas and worms—she has settled into our family and become a truly spoiled and beloved member of our household.
We’ve worked hard to give her a fresh start: we paid for her flea and worm treatments, got her microchipped, paid for blood tests, neutered, and made sure all her vaccinations are up to date. Unfortunately, during a recent vet visit, we discovered Biscuit has a condition called luxating patella (a dislocating kneecap). While she’s managing short-term with anti-inflammatories, the vet says she urgently needs surgery to live a pain-free, healthy life.
Being a stray, Biscuit doesn’t have a medical history, so we can’t get her insured. We’ve also reached out to organizations like Cats Protection, but they won’t help because I work full-time. I can’t afford the full cost of the surgery on my own.
This is where I’m asking for your help. Any donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward Biscuit’s surgery and aftercare, giving her the chance to enjoy a long and happy life free from pain.
If you can donate, it would mean the world to me—and to Biscuit. If you’re unable to contribute, sharing this post would still make a huge difference.
Thank you so much for your kindness and support!
