I've raised £500 to Community Food Network is raising money to provide free nutritious food to people in need.

Community Food Network (CFN) know that times are very difficult for many people right now. That’s why a team of Midsomer Norton and Radstock volunteers have come together to form The Community Food Network.
CFN are passionate about getting free long life food to people who are struggling right now.
Although its volunteers have been doing food donations and frozen meals for local people and the homeless in Bristol for a while now, CFN officially launched on Monday 22nd February 2021 by making Care Bags of long lasting food. The food was generously donated by Welton Rovers Football Club.
CFN is working with Welton Rovers Football Club to donate this food to those in most need. We hope that this is a regular event - but that will depend on funding like this crowd funder. We have costed that each Care Bag cost £15 for 3 days meals including breakfast, lunch and an evening meal.
100% of the money we raise on this page will be used to buy long life food for Care Bags. We are all volunteers and we do not claim expenses.
We are also in the process of becoming a charity to be able to apply for grants. We are also working with 3SG, BANES Council, Virgin Care and other Organisations to fulfil our aims.
We fully support Somer Valley Food Banks and the Community Wellbeing Hub However, we know that even with the amazing work of these organisations, people are find it difficult to feed themselves right now and will do in the future.
CFN has a no questions asked policy when donating on food.
