I've raised £1000 to Help Rachel and Rick and children get through this dreadful situation.

Please spare a thought for Rachel and Rick, a popular couple living in the Denby Dale area with their 2 young children. They say it never rains but pours and that has unfortunately been the case for them recently.
Firstly Rachel had an operation that saw her unable to work for 4 months. Fortunately Rick managed to get extra hours at work to try to keep the financial wolf from the door.
A couple doing their best, not asking for handouts and trying to keep their head above water.
Then as Rick was riding his motorcycle from work in the early hours he became the victim of a dreadful act where suspects had laid several large boulders on the country road he was travelling along at 1 a.m.
One can only imagine the horror of being confronted with these lethal obstacles when his bike hit one of them, causing him to be violently thrown off it and sustaining serious injuries that included a broken collarbone and pelvis.
Rick is likely to be off work for at least 3 months with only very limited sick pay. His mobility is extremley limited and hes unable to walk. His motorcycle is likely to be a right off and although he had insurance it was only 3rd party due to how expensive fully comprehensive would have been.
So, a good man trying to do his best doing no more or less than trying to work now finds himself with an extremely limited income and his transport lost forever.
A prime example of how bad some people can be and the impacts their evil deeds can have on others.
Lets show Rachel and Rick how kindness and compassion can be stronger than that.
They have not asked for any help and know nothing at the moment of this cause.
I know them only through being local to the area but believe they would be overwhelmed by such kindness. I will start that kindness by giving a £20 donation.
God bless them and here’s to a speedy recovery for Rick.
