Story
Cockshutt C of E primary is a small school in the village of cockshutt near Ellesmere, Shropshire. The school had a 'good' Ofsted rating last year but unfortunately, due to severe cuts the school have had to make a number of redundancies.
Mr Wedley (the year 3/4 teacher at the school), Vicki Lea and Elaine Brookes who are parents of children at the school, along with other parents and friends of the school, are hoping to raise money by running the Wrexham 10K on the 30th of July.
All of the money raised will be used to provide new sports equipment, sports kits, new resources such as guided reading books and also help go towards the costs of educational trips for the children at the school.
