I've raised £1300 to Help support 2 fantastic charities to continue their great work to helping children and young adults achieve and get the support they need.

Trek 15 miles in a loop across the unforgiving Purbeck hills, steep slopes, narrow paths and tough stairs, push yourself to the max as you take in the breath-taking scenery along the Jurassic coast.
Join us on this walk around the stunning Purbecks on 5th June, looping around to the Royal Marines Commando Memorial where we will lay poppies in memory of John Thornton. Raising funds as you walk for our two brilliant charities the JTYAF and MYTime.
Make a real difference to young people, give them the opportunities they deserve and help them to reach higher. Helping two local charities recover and continue their outstanding work with young adults and children:
John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation:
The John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation (JTYAF) was set up in memory of John Thornton who was tragically killed in Afghanistan in 2008. The JTYAF provides opportunities for young people to help them to develop as individuals and fulfil their ambitions in life as John was able to do.

My Time Young Carers:
Levelling the playing field for young carers
With an educational approach driven by charitable action, our mission is to level the playfield for young carers by providing them with the support, friendship and opportunities that every child deserves. There are an estimated 700,000 young carers in the UK. You're a young carer if you're under 18 and help to look after a family member with a disability, illness, mental health condition or drug or alcohol problem. £150 raised pays for one Young Carer to attend a weekend retreat, £250 raised pays for 10 Young Carers to attend a Memory Making Day.

JK House Training Centre is honoured to be able to organise and run this event for these great causes, tying nicely with our Associates, Ambassador and Sponsorship packages.
