I have chosen three local charities to raise money for during my year as Chairman of Buckinghamshire Council. Throughout the year I will be taking part in a variety of activities.

The three charities are:

South Bucks Hospice:

South Bucks Hospice emphasises a holistic approach to palliative care, they look after the whole person, and their family.

Oasis Partnership

Their mission is to support people facing disadvantage by providing them with high-quality skills training, a nurturing community, and sustainable opportunities for growth, so they can overcome challenges, achieve measurable success, and build a brighter, more resilient future.

Heart of Bucks

Heart of Bucks Community Foundation is a registered charity and part of a network of 47 community foundations across the UK, all committed to making a difference to the lives of local people. Working in partnership with individuals, businesses and public sector organisations, Heart of Bucks awards grant and loan funding to hundreds of not-for-profit groups that are helping to improve the lives of people in Buckinghamshire.
