Most of you will know that last year I ran the Ealing Half Marathon in memory of my mum and for the cause of MSF. This year, as a fellow teacher, I am keen to raise money to support the wonderful work of the staff at Little Ealing Primary School.

Any teacher will tell you that the cuts have hit our schools in a very real way. Many schools are facing the decision to make members of staff redundant; subjects like music and art are being culled from the curriculum and class sizes are going up. And yet, we see very little of this at Little Ealing. This is testament to the hard work and professionalism of the leadership team and the staff.

I would like to raise money to help ease the pressure, even just a little bit. So... I'll be running this Sunday and would love it if you could sponsor me. The money will go straight into the pockets of Little Ealing so it is easier for Mrs. Hodges and her team to make our children's learning an even greater experience.
