Story
Claire was a creative force, channelling energy into music, poetry, performance and writing. She has a number of books published already. However, she only wrote one novel. Entitled "I, a Child", Claire's novel was a symbolic culmination of a lifetime of creative writing and philosophical thinking. Claire spent the last few years of her life crafting and honing her novel, but sadly it was never published. As part of her legacy we are raising funds to publish it and give it the audience it deserves.
We intend to send a copy of "I, a Child" to each contributor to this campaign once it is published.

6 years agoDear All An update on Claire's novel... I, A Child is currently on its final edit and we are in the process of working with a cover designer and a printer. Our aim is to publish it in the spring of 2019. We will be holding a book launch towards the end of March to coincide with the spring equinox and to mark two years since Claire’s passing (timescales permitting). We want the launch to be a celebration, to share Claire’s literary legacy with all our friends and family. Dates and details of the event in due course. Chloe, Emma and Steve

Chloe and Emma are Claire's daughters; Steve is Claire's partner of 21 years and Rosie is Claire's youngest sister. The four of us are working together to create a legacy for Claire. This is our first project in her memory but we hope there will be more to come.
