We are aiming to raise enough money to purchase the Acheeva Learning Station/Bed for Dylan to use whilst at school.
Due to the nature of Dylan's condition this leaves him fully dependent, he requires lots of positional changes throughout the day and he is unable to manage this for himself.
The purpose of the Acheeva is to allow Dylan to stretch out and lie down and it allows the staff to give him physio as required. Due to his condition he also needs a lot of sleep and rest time which the bed is also helpful for.

The school currently have a couple of these beds in junior size which are shared by many of the children. Unfortunately, Dylan has outgrown these and he now requires an adult size, which the school does not have.
Due to poor timing and investment in other things there is currently no funds available to purchase any new equipment. This sadly leaving Dylan unable to have the care which he requires.
The bed will also be able to be shared amongst other pupils as they grow and it is required.

To raise these much needed funds the staff of ML Williams in Ayr are embarking on a series of fundraising activities to help, as Dylan is a much valued employee's child.

Our first event is this Saturday where we are hiring a 7 seat conference bike and riding around the island of Millport.
Our next challenge is climbing Goatfell over in Arran in the warmer months. Some of the staff are also looking into completeing the Tough Mudder event in June - You will be kept updated!
