I've raised £30000 to Neuroblastoma and St Francis Hospice

The Citywire annual charity run is back for 2020 – the only difference this time is that we are coming back strong with a socially distanced virtual run!
Get involved with the amazing work your industry is doing year on year to raise money and support wonderful causes. Let’s not let being in lockdown put a stop to that.
Join us on Thursday 28th May – rather than meeting in Regents Park like usual, your whole company is invited to run in their own time that day and then log it on our group Strava page.
We are delighted to be hosting a 5k run along with our existing and much loved 10k distance, opening the event up to everyone. Just enter a team, submit your donation and log your run at any time during the 28th May.
Last year we had over 200 runners join us in person and we raised over £25,000 for charity. Given that you can do it this year in your own time and own space, let’s get even more of us doing it. The Citywire Charity Committee have chosen two worthy charities to support, with close links to people at Citywire. Every penny of your kind donations will go to:
• Neuroblastoma UK - a small national charity, dedicated to finding a cure for neuroblastoma, a rare childhood cancer - https://www.neuroblastoma.org.uk/
• Saint Francis Hospice is an Essex-based charity committed to providing free, person centred care to those affected by a life limiting illnesses. - https://www.sfh.org.uk/
For the competitive among you, log your activity to join our Strava leader board - we'll be awarding trophies for the quickest man and woman for the 5k and 10k distances respectively. You've got to be in it to win it.
We can only smash last year’s fundraising target with your help – let’s make 2020 the best year yet. Are you ready to get your trainers on and sign up today?
