I've raised £5000 to help towards Chris' wake, followed by a sailing trip for his family to spread his ashes out at sea.

It is with deep sadness and extremely heavy hearts that our Artistic Team member, colleague, friend, and family member, International Colour Director Chris Williams, lost his battle to Cancer, and passed away on Monday 18th October 2021.
Chris inspired, and changed how the industry saw colour with his incredible craft. He was deeply creative, meticulous about colour and showcased a precise approach to colour placement, which became what we know today as the Rush way.
Chris’ legacy lives on through his team members, and everyone he taught, and met within the industry! Chris had a big personality, with an unforgettable laugh!
Just to show how amazing Chris was at his craft, the industry awarded him with amazing accolades over the years; Chris became a Fellow with Honours awarded by the Fellowship of British Hairdressing in 2018, was awarded a British Hairdressing Awards Schwarzkopf Professional Colour Technician of the Year 2009, and won 3X Artistic Team of the Year with his team, placing them in the Hall of Fame, he was also awarded Creative Head’s Most Wanted Hair Trend. Chris’ contribution to our industry will always be remembered.
Chris leaves behind a beautiful daughter, Lily, a loving wife, Sophie, an amazing family and great friends! Not only was Chris an amazing Colourist, but also he loved to sail and be out at sea, as well as a massive DC and Marvel fan!
Chris built a great working relationship with the teams in Rush; the Head Office Team, the Academy Team, the Salon Teams and Managers, his Colour Team, the Workshop Team, and the Artistic Team and Artistic Team Support, as well as our wonderful bosses. Chris also built great relationships with the brands we work very closely with, as well as other amazing people within the creative industry.
As soon as we knew Chris was ill, we came together as one team; we wanted to give something back to him and to give him the send-off he deserves, and to celebrate his life!
Rest in perfect peace Chris, we love you!
