I've raised £500 to help Denham Parish Church at this difficult time by walking a garden marathon.

We continue to do this in novel ways during the Coronavirus Crisis and are so thankful that we are able to connect with our church family and new people and support those who are struggling at this time.
Like many other charities, we are feeling the strain of lost income (no offerings at our services, no rental income, the cancellation of the Denham Village May Fayre). We receive no third-party funding, so I want to help in a small way to ensure we can continue to thrive in our work.
I am in shielding measures at the moment (I have Cystic Fibrosis), so in the spirit of the 2.6/26 challenge, I am walking a marathon in my garden over the course of ten days. That is substantially more walking than I usually do and it has been many years since I managed to walk that distance in 10 days, let alone doing it by walking in circles on a patch of grass (which, admittedly, is a generous patch).
Your support will help me to stay fit at the same time :)
If I raise less than that within the ten days, my wife Edda and I will make up the shortfall. If you give more than £500, we will still do our bit.
Would you please give directly to our church (stating "Christoph 26" in the details), so we can claim gift aid? Our bank account is: Denham Parochial Church Council, Account No. 30305553, Sortcode 208916, (Business Account), IBAN GB65BARC20891630305553.Of course you can also send me a cheque, made payable to "Denham PCC", with a note saying this is for my garden marathon.
It doesn't matter how much you are able to give - every gift will be a beautiful sign of your support and fuel for my walking.
THANK YOU!
With my love and prayers,
