Heres our story:

2019 was the first Christmas dinner we held for our local community. The reason behind this was because I had attended a community event *2 weeks before Christmas* where a lovely Macmillan nurse was asking if there were any local Christmas dinners happening in the area, unfortunately there was none.

The year previous to this was a very tough one for our family we spent our Christmas visiting our close relative in ICU it was a very different Christmas for us all and in that time I saw many people alone on this day that was meant to bring people together.

With the help of our whole town we manage to cook a beautiful Christmas dinner, with gifts for our guests, deliveries to the house bound and a team of wonderful volunteers giving festive cheer!

We understand this year is a particularly hard one with many people struggling financially, emotionally and dealing with significant loss. Every body deserves light in their life's, to not feel alone and feel loved.

That's the mission this year to spread the real meaning of Christmas, by bringing people together ❤️

We have now run three successful Christmas Day Dinners for the lonely or in need on Christmas Day, the 2023 dinner helped so many people not only those who attended but families in need all over Fleetwood and further.

Last year Our eldest guest was 97, our youngest was just 10 months. youngest volunteer just 9. We Catered to over 100 people in, we had around 40 volunteers over Christmas eve and Christmas Day including a grassroots football team. 15 Guest were chauffeured to and from the dinner and One of our guest brought a guitar and serenaded us whilst we tidied up. Along with the dinner everyone left with a bag full of gifts. It was beautiful!

Non of this could of been possible without the donations and support of the Fleetwood community, it's groups and businesses

The whole idea of this event is to bring people together on such a special day and experience the feeling of family on Christmas day.

This is all dependent on your support, any extra money will be given back to the community by means of food vouchers, toy donations, hygiene packages etc
