Seven years ago, we at Halewood Community Spirit started the Christmas Crusade in Halewood - visiting as many roads as possible accross the estates of Halewood over 6 evenings. Our wagon - is decorated and illuminated with lights with festive music playing over the PA system so you see and hear us approaching - carrying none other than Santa on his sleigh! The event is greatly supported and so many people bring out the children to see Santa... even the adults are left smiling with a feeling of joy! As part of the crusade in the past we have collected food for pensioners and toys for sick children. We have had a two year break from the crusade and hosted a grotto instead - but everyone misses and wants to see the crusade return and complete another epic journey around Halewood this December!

We are a voluntary group and have to raise funds to ensure our events go ahead - so we need your help To bring back the crusade!

We need to raise as much as possible to pay for the hire of a wagon for 7-8 days, buy materials and decorations and pay for other things like public liability insurance.

So please give what you can and help us make it happen once again - our communiry deserves it!
