Story
Our lovely dad and husband Chris Peers died on Sunday 20th May 2018 after 4.5 years of treatment for lymphoma. In his last week he was looked after by the amazing nurses at Wheatfields Hospice in Headingley. I (Lucy) stayed overnight in his room on a pull out bed every night which was brilliant for my peace of mind. I would really, really like to be able to buy the ward another spare bed (or two!) for anyone else in the same situation to use. It made a horrible situation just that little bit easier. Any extra money (hopefully loads!) will go to the hospice to buy anything else they need for patients or visitors.
Thank you!

I was so saddened to hear of this news. Chris was an amazing mentor and scientist. My thoughts go out to you and your family. I hope this goes some way in helping other families at a challenging time.
