My name is Macie Moore and I am 12 years old from Suffolk England and I am on a mission to raise £10,000 for my Dad so we can buy him sight enhancing glasses.

My Dad, Chris Moore is 37 and has starguarts disease flecked retina syndrome. He has lived with this for many years as was first diagnosed around the age of 11. What this syndrome is, its a type of macular degeneration. My dad has a blind spot in his central vision however due to living with this for a long time his brain will try to guess what should be there by gathering information from around it. This is something that has deteriorated over time and will continue to do so for the rest of his life. This youtube video explains what my dad sees everyday
