As a current Finalist for Miss Wales 2020, I have an urging drive to use my own initiative to work with a charity that is close to my heart. Therefore, my chosen charity is "Beauty with a Purpose". It is a fantastic charity that brings about hope from desperation to underprivileged children from around the world.

Beauty with a Purpose exists to make small changes to what is a huge global problem.

Julia Morely, the wife of the founder of Miss World Eric Morely, saw the opportunity and set up this wonderful charity in 1972 to make that difference. Using the Miss World brand, she had the opportunity to travel the world, not only did she see the beauty of what the world had to offer, but she also saw some of it's horrors. In her ambassador role she had the opportunity to reach out around the world and set up this charity that not only helps young people with their difficult lives, it also educates them in order to make their lives better.

Over the next six months leading to the Miss Wales Final in April 2020, I will be actively involved with this charity and various fundraising events to help this fantastic cause in order raise as much awareness and money as possible, so that children get the opportunity to have a positive difference made to their lives around the world.
