I am raising funds to support Wigan and Leigh wrestling club. A group of fantastic young wrestlers have been given the opportunity of a lifetime and have been selected to train with some of the best young wrestlers and represent their team in a competition in America in June 2019.

I am far from wrestling material myself but I am hoping to do my bit to support these amazing young people to reach their dreams!
I am aiming to complete the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge on 8th June 2019. This means I will be tackling the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, hiking a total of 24.5 miles, in 12 hours or less!

Wigan and Leigh wrestling offers opportunities to children and young people, helping them to find a passion and build the confidence to pursue it. I have been able to see the difference being a part of this club can make to young people's lives, giving them a sense of identity, belonging and a huge sense of achievement, which they may not get anywhere else.

This is such an important part of these young people's lives and this trip will give them the chance to build life-long memories.
