    Story

Please help fund a CD recording of our Royal Festival Hall debut on 4th September 2016 by donating!

The Chineke! Foundation is a non-profit organisation which has been established to provide career opportunities to young Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) classical musicians in the UK and Europe. Chineke!’s motto is: ’Championing change and celebrating diversity in classical music’.

The Chineke! Orchestra is the brainchild of Chi-chi Nwanoku MBE, FRAM, who has this say about the project: ‘My aim is to create a space where BME musicians can walk on stage and know that they belong, in every sense of the word. If even one BME child feels that their colour is getting in the way of their musical ambitions, then I hope to inspire them, give them a platform, and show them that music, of whatever kind, is for all people.’

If you donate £10, yours/your organisation's name will be put in the CD booklet.
If you donate £25, yours/your organisation's name will be put in the CD booklet and you will get a free CD.
If you donate £50, yours/your organisation's name will be put in the CD booklet and you will get a free signed CD.
If you donate £75, yours/your organisation's name will be put in the CD booklet, you will get a free signed CD, and an invitation to the final rehearsal of a major London concert.
If you donate £100+, yours/your organisation's name will be put in the CD booklet, you will get a free signed CD, and an invitation to the final rehearsal of a major London concert and a ticket to a future major concert.
