We need to raise £10.000 to help us with our legal fees as we fight to save The China Hall. We,ve personally run the pub for over 30 years, and now a developer based in the Isle of man wants to evict us. We're taking them to court so we can make sure we're still here pouring pints for the local community for many years to come.
The pub has a long rich history since it was originally built in 1776, first as a theatre, then later as a public house. After almost 250 years, it is imperative that we don't lose this community asset to developers, particularly one based outside the UK. We've run this pub for 34 years - supporting our local community in rotherhithe. Now we desperately need your help if we're ro csrry on.
