We are aiming to raise £5,000 through local fundraising activities to contribute to the creation of a playground and recreational space in our beautiful village of Chilton.

Chilton locals are enormously lucky to be surrounded by fields and open space, but with a growing number of young families in the village it has become increasingly obvious that we lack a safe but stimulating place for children to play. It is our ambition to rebuild the playground that fell into disrepair and was removed over 12 years ago, whilst also creating a space for local friends and families to meet.

The plan will include a playground for children of toddler age upwards, a shelter and picnic benches, so visitors can keep an eye on their children whilst enjoying the fabulous views across the Buckinghamshire countryside.

The people of Chilton are planning a series of fundraising events, including pop-up pubs, a sponsored walk and the famous “Chilathlon” (sprint triathlon). Please support us. Any amount that you can give will help us achieve our goal.
